About Steve

Having a varied career is a good thing, Steve tells himself often as he ponders how he fooled people into thinking he’s an expert in web marketing, SEO, SEM  and ecommerce.

The path he took cut a swath out of the North Texas business community starting as a web designer, working into a web (and traditional) marketing manager for a couple of firms (first, second) and a Search Marketing Manager for Blockbuster, Inc. (doubling organic traffic in less than a year – #patontheback).  Woven through this has been an executive eCommerce role with one of the largest auto dealers in the US.

What’s a webguy without side projects?  He started his own network of automotive enthusiast communities as well, earning millions of visitors each year, plus he’ll take on the occasional SEO side project as well.
